Dating Spots in Cebu♥

A week ago, I was asked by one of my managers to write about something for..maybe..our company’s blog and it freaked the hell out of me as I read the title as “Popular places for a date”. How would I know? Of course I dated but not more than the numbers of my fingers and toes. I was in a long distance relationship and our dates usually were out of town. However, I made some research and eventually came out with a short list. I was thinking about sharing this with you in case one of you might want to visit Cebu.

Cebu is renowned for its beautiful beaches to have fun and amusing islands to explore. Here’s the thing, the Queen city of the south definitely has more to offer. If you’re planning to go on a date and a bit worried about a good place to go, well, worry no more! This city gives you a lot of options. You’ll never go wrong with these places. Here’s to name a few…

1. Radisson Blu Hotel

Located right beside SM Cebu, which is one of the biggest malls in Cebu. If you want to take your date to a cocktail live entertainment, then Radissun is a good place to be at. There’s The Lobby Bar to give you a cozy experience. Quaff a glass of wine, tasty cocktail, or cold beer while enjoying the views of this hotel’s garden and pool and listen to live music. After the relaxing show, you might want to take a walk around the garden and have some chitchat with your date. The mood might set you to be intimate. This hotel boasts its accommodation, offering elegant and comfy rooms with breathtaking views of the city skyline and Mactan island. Your date will never regret going out with you for this perfect night!

2. Casa Verde

If your date is a fussy eater, then Casa Verde is the place to be! Head out to its main branch in Ramos, Cebu City where you can experience a romantic dinner date in the garden. You can choose to be at the air conditioned room though. If I were your date, I’d rather have a table in the garden. This restaurant brings homestyle comfort food to the next level. You will surely savor sumptuous food and quality service at reasonable prices in an at rest ambiance. Mind you, ladies love to be around men who are sort of mindful in what they eat.

3. Ayala Center Cebu

If both of you enjoy walking around and talking here and there, there certainly is a spot to delight your caprice. Ayala is like a one-stop shop with such gorgeous stucture and surroundings. You can have and/or do anything you want there. In case you get tired of walking, you can sit back anywhere you want. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Besides, letting her do a shopping spree can be a cool way to impress her.

4. Café Tiala

There couldn’t be more laid-back than having a chat over a cup of coffee or tea and a slice of something sweet. Themed coffee shops are taking the city by storm. First on the list is a Korean café that offers not too sweet mouthwatering menu. Café Tiala is located at Unit D, 2nd Floor, The Forum Bldg., Archbishop Reyes Ave., Cebu City, and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. You can enjoy not only their foodstuff but also the place itself. It looks like a doll house which has cute different costumes and Princesss’ dresses that you and your date might want to wear for capturing moments. It would be a lovely memory for the both you.

  1. I hope I can find your article again when I visit the Philippines next year 😊 But thank you for writing about Cebu, some place I’ve been meaning to visit. Maybe this time 😊

  2. I agree with Casa Verde, being one of the most loved by couples, groups of friends or families. But there are so much more pa. Mountain View, Lantaw, Mr. A’s. Mostly places overlooking the city. 🙂
