Hong Kong Disneyland: Attractions (Part 1)

A place full of joy, fun, adventure, amusement, and magic!
A place full of joy, fun, adventure, amusement, and magic!

On the second day of our stay in Hong Kong (in case you missed that post, click here), we woke up to the loud sound of the alarm set at 5:30am. I’m not a morning person but this time, I had all the energy in the world. We decided to get there as early as possible to hit all the attractions. They say Disneyland is the happiest place in the world and I was so inflamed to finally be there. Took the train and immersed myself into imagining what that place would be like. As soon as we stepped into the ground of the world of dreams, which was yet to open at that time, Dohyoung tried to get our tickets online which turned out to be a big mistake. It was on Viator. I don’t know if anyone here knows that. No wonder why we got the tickets for a little lower cost. What happened was, by the time we tried to the get the real tickets from the ticket booth showing the code given by that site, the clerk denied the bar code as their machine couldn’t recognize it. The first thing that occurred to me was “What? We got scammed?!” We exchanged words with a little tension or none at all. He was so helpful and truly approachable. In the end, we bought the tickets from them.

TIP: Beware of the sites claiming to be affiliated with Disneyland. Better get the tickets from Disneyland’s ticket booth. Never mind the long queue. 😉

Despite that, we passed the entrance with all smiles! 🙂 My heart even skipped a beat. Couldn’t believe it was happening to me. (^_^)

We planned to check out all the rides and attractions as much as we could but there were 76 of them not including the Frozen Village. We wanted to leave the place by 8pm. So we had 9 hours to make the best day of our lives. We carefully checked the guide map, the waiting time, the excitement each could give and the like just to make sure we could experience the best.

Now let me share the first 5 attractions we hit that left us with no regrets..

  1. I haven’t back in Disneyland here in the US, so I don’t know if they have all these attractions/rides. Sorry you got scammed. I like the Majestic garden and the Toy soldier Parachute Drop and Tarzan’s tree house. This sounds like fun!

          1. Hi, Sheryl! Sorry for my delayed response. I’ve been sick with a flu. To answer your question, unfortunately, no. I have so many posts to share, but just don’t have enough time to do other things. I hope you are well. Have a great week ahead.
