Getting a Postal ID: Philippines

This is the easiest government issued ID I’ve applied for by far. You can get one from the nearest Philippine Post office in your town which has the capturing machine (Biometrics). Good news! It’s now considered internationally valid. 🙂

Take note of the requirements:

  1. Birth Certificate (from NSO or LCR)
  2. Marriage Certificate (for married women, from NSO or LCR)
  3. Barangay Clearance (for Postal ID)

NOTE:

~ Bring the original copies of the documents.

~ Have 1 photocopy of your Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate.

~ Prepare Php415.00 (VAT included).

~ You can claim it after 20 days to 1 month.

Good luck! 🙂
