Where to buy clothes in Seoul?
Since I only own a very few clothes now after moving to Japan, the desire to buy a few got me while the husband and I spent the rest of our South Korea trip in Seoul. One fact about me is that I am a price-conscious shopper. Besides, I’m not that much of a glutton for brands. Comfort and nominal price are the basic things that aid me when shopping for clothes.
Because our stay in Seoul was numbered, the husband took me to the nearest town from our inn. Dongdaemun it was. I’ve heard this a lot because of a Korean reality TV show I am currently hooked on. We arrived at an underground shopping mall. Oh boy was I so thrilled and forgot to take photos there. 😀 Take a look at my snaps outside, anyway. 😀
Dongdaemun is like a big shopping mall because of the shopping centers you can see to your left and right.
Funny thing about the underground shopping center is that, fitting rooms are nowhere to be seen. Hence, this photo which was taken by my good husband who was laughing at me.
Who would have thought that I could see this famous landmark after years of seeing it only on TV?

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)
After shopping, we took the chance to see another tourist spot at a walking distance which shows a little history.

Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun Gate)
It was a good time! How was your visit to Seoul? Dongdaemun? 🙂
