🐬Kamogawa Sea World🐬

Summer in Japan can be really hot. And yet, ’tis the season when people still go somewhere and have a good time despite the scorching Mr. Sun. To my advantage, I grew up in a tropical country where foreigners think that summer is an all year round season. 😀 That being said, summer in Japan doesn’t really bother me. Feels like home. 😀

This season is probably the best time to go to amusement parks and water parks. Danny and I opted to go somewhere where we can encounter the ocean world. I don’t know but I’m a sucker for marine species. No matter how unfamiliar they are to me, they truly amuse me.

Kamogawa Sea World is located in Chiba. More or less 3 hours away from our place by car depending on traffic. Thanks to Danny for driving all the way there. 💞 What I liked about the place is that it is near the beach. As in real beach. You can smell the fresh scent of the ocean and hear the waves from KSW. In addition, they have species that I’ve seen for the first time as far as my memory is concerned. Take this one for example.

beluga
This is a beluga. Have you ever heard of it?

And my favorite part was watching the performances of these lovely creatures. I was totally surprised by their brainpower and motor skills. These are not full videos but, have a look. 😄

💦 Dolphins

They were so cute. I wanted to give them a big hug!

💦 Killer Whales (Part 1)

💦 Killer Whales (Part 2)

I didn’t know these giants can be so adorable. Watch out for the huge splash! 😀

💦 Sea Lions

The smiling family! 😀

💦 Belugas

They were perky and smart.

The place was worth the long drive. Danny and I absolutely had a good time!

Check out photos here. You can add me up. 😊

  1. Hi,
I teach about medieval Japan. I have also been to sea world many times in San Diego California.
Congratulations on being Danny Ray’s featured blogger. I was his featured blogger too. Maybe you can check out my blog if you need a blogging tip or two. That’s what I write about.
