Puyo Puyo Tetris for Nintendo Switch

The day has finally come! Puyo Puyo Tetris for Nintendo Switch is now available! Have you bought it yet?

Two puzzle game juggernauts collide as Tetris®, one of the largest-selling and recognized brands in gaming history, and Puyo Puyo™ from SEGA have combined to create a fun-to-play, fast-paced, competitive party game like no other!

Well, I have to admit that this game is absolutely fun, fast-moving, and combative! Who doesn’t know Tetris®? This is the kind of Tetris that one will be really challenged. As for Puyo Puyo™, it does bring out one’s creativity. You have to plan things well to defeat your enemy or overcome challenges in each stage. And when combined, what a blast!!

I like how things get tense at some point, but in the absence of violence. I’m not fond of games that display guns, bloods and too much killings. 😀 To be clear,  I don’t hate you if you play those. ❤

Before the releasing date, my husband and I have already tried the game, the trial version. There were limitations as for the features, however it was still fun!

The game doesn’t restraint itself to just one kind of mode. You get to choose from about 15 modes (If I’m not mistaken). Danny and I often opt for the Swap mode. This is when we battle on both Puyo Puyo and Tetris boards, which shift back and forth at set intervals.

Another thing that I like is you get to choose any characters from the Puyo Puyo and Tetris worlds as your player. The dainty side of it! All characters are pretty cute!

As you play, you’ll hear this cool music background. Not just that, you’ll also hear your character’s voice. The way they react to your game just makes it more fun! I hear Japanese so it kind of makes me very entertained in a good way, of course!

Isn’t the layout attractive? I love it! If the trial version gave me that amount of amusement, how much more if it was the full version?

This is without a doubt perfect for couples, kids, and those who love violence-free games! Visit Nintendo’s site for more details. 😉
