KFC Japan’s new Krusher: Yep or nope?
Did you know that aloe is edible? That aloe that some people use for hair, scalp, and skin treatment. Well, the idea wasn’t true to me until I tried the new Krusher made by KFC Japan yesterday.
KFC Japan’s new flavor: Aloe and Muscat (¥350)
This refreshing drink is blended with yogurt, muscat, and aloe topped with whole grain crunch. At first, I was a bit skeptical because I had never eaten something with aloe. I thought this was just another bizarre creation of Japan. However, curiosity overpowered the doubt in me.
Right after my first sip, I chewed something that seemed like nata de coco. I utterly experienced a whole new punch! I could strongly make the taste of muscat in every sip I took. There was this little kick of bitterness, but it wasn’t off. I reckoned it could be the aloe. When it was half of the cup, I could munch on the toppings and enjoyed everything.
What I liked about it the most is that it wasn’t too sweet. I do have a sweet tooth, but it doesn’t mean I like something that’s way too sweet. 😀 What’s too sweet and not for me? Sorry I don’t know how to put it. I suppose you’ll get it once you try it yourself. That if we have the same definition of sweetness.
It’s definitely a YEP!
So how does this aloe and muscat Krusher strike you?
I had no idea it was edible either! Thanks for sharing.
