  1. The biggest thing is you have to make sure the blog name is very obvious – after all, that’s why you are watermarking in the first place! Your logo, which is low contrast and has small print, is very problematic in that respect. When I go back and look (for example) at your makeup reviews, the name is all but entirely unreadable at the resolutions you’ve posted the photos at.

    Though my (currently inactive) photo blog has a logo, I use a custom brush in Photoshop with my blog’s name and URL’s in text. I do it that way because it looks a little more professional and that’s the image I want to project there.


    1. You probably saw the ones which were smaller. This usually happens when I have to make my photos smaller. But one can always adjust the size of the watermark. Well, this isn’t much of a problem because Google shows your site’s URL (even the size of the photo), right? In most cases, my logo (especially the name) is just readable. I should make my watermark bigger next time then.
