Did you change your domain?

(For WordPress.com users)

If so, don’t forget to update your profile because you don’t want your visitors to be prompted with something frustrating as this (which I’ve been getting lately, and yes, I do visit sites in my spare time):

“examplesite.wordpress.com is no longer available.”

So to spare yourself and your visitors the trouble, just follow these simple steps.

  1. Click My Site.
  2. Choose Domain.
  3. Make your newly created domain as your primary one.

As simple as that! Whenever you change your domain, remind yourself to update your profile as well. If you want me to check whether your site is working or not at the moment, don’t hesitate to leave me a comment with your current link.

      1. Oh? I’ve just checked and you’re right. Wonder if they are doing some site maintenance. Thanks for reporting, I’ll keep checking.
